Chinese Dinner at Joe's Shanghai Restaurant, Chinatown, Thursday, April 23, 7pm
Join Hearts & Minds volunteers, including several from China, as we pick some excellent dishes in a reasonably priced restaurant in Manhattan's Chinatown. Each person pays their share, about $15 not including beverages or dessert.
     You can join us at the Hearts & Minds office, where we'll set out promptly at 5:45pm, or you can meet us at the restaurant at 7 pm.

Together, we can stop this silent annihilation. For a safer, more just and sustainable world.

The End Poverty Campaign is a public education and advocacy campaign. We're working to raise public support to help millions of people lift themselves from extreme poverty.

Tabling for the End Poverty Walkathon, Friday, April 17, 7 pm -10:30 pm
Help recruit participants and donors for our Walkathon (pls. see below). At Cielo Bar, over 21 only please and please reserve with Hearts & Minds before attending.

End Poverty Walkathon planning and fundraising how-to meetings: at our office or by phone. Call first to arrange please:

  • Thursday, April 30, 7 pm - 8 pm
  • Monday, May 4, 7 pm - 8 pm
  • Wednesday, May 6, 4 pm - 5 pm
  • Also available by request, including at other locations outside our office for groups of at least 15 in Manhattan, 25 in other NYC boroughs

Walkathon  |  Top of Page
The second annual End Poverty Walkathon is 2pm on Sunday, May 17 in Manhattan's scenic Hudson River Park. You can also participate from anywhere.
